TURKISH ENTERPRISE AND BUSINESS CONFEDERATION (TÜRKONFED) held meetings between 3-5 November in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to hold high-level business development contacts.
On the first day, T.C. Azerbaijan Embassy, Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation (ASK) and Azersun Holding were visited. Süleyman Sönmez, President of TÜRKONFED, Burak Pehlivan, President of TÜRKONFED International and TÜRKONFED Executive Board members have met with Assoc. Dr. Cahit Bağcı, Baku Ambassador, Vugar Zeynalov, Vice President of ASK Azersun Holding and Savaş Uzan, Board Member of ASK, and exchanged views on mutual investment environment and possible collaborations.S
On the second and third days of the TÜRKONFED delegation’s visit to Baku, high-level meetings and visits on business development continued. On the second day of the visit, the delegation met with Valeh Alasgarov, President of Alat Free Zone (AFEZA), and Orkhan Mammadov, President of Azerbaijan Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (KOBİA). In the next meeting, he attended the DEİK Turkey-Azerbaijan Business Forum, which was held with the participation of Fuat Oktay, Turkish Vice President. During the visits that continued the third day, after the meeting with PMD Holding, the delegation came together Tahir Mirkishili, with the Deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and his team.
Lastly, the TÜRKONFED Delegation visited the Azerbaijan Martyrs’ Veil and the Baku Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery and Monument and commemorated the civilians and soldiers who were martyred in different periods of history.
