Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen’s Association (ATİB) is a public association representing the interests of the business world since its establishment. ATIB is one of the leading associations uniting businessmen of Azerbaijan and foreign countries operating in Azerbaijan. ATIB aims to unite businesspeople, governing bodies and the business world around the interests of the country and the people. The Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Association believes in the importance of developing economic, social and cultural ties first between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and then between Azerbaijan and other countries. ATIB was established to strengthen the economic potential of Azerbaijan and create synergy by bringing together Turkish and Azerbaijani businessmen in line with the aim of revitalizing the Azerbaijani economy.
Cemal Yangın was born in 1957 in Fatsa. Yangın, who lived in Fatsa until her high school years, came to Istanbul for education and business development. His business life started in 1977. Yangın, who is a member of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), served as the Chairman of Istanbul Galata Businessmen’s Association. Cemal Yangın laid the foundation of “Istanbul Çarşı Import & Export Ltd” company in 1994 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Istanbul Çarşı Import & Export works in harmony with domestic and foreign companies operating in Azerbaijan. Since 2012, Yangın is the President of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association, and the vice-president of the TR-AZ Business Council in the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). He is a member of the Board of Directors of DTİK, World Turkish Business Council. He is married and has 2 children.
