Turkish Bosnia-Herzegovina Businessmen Association (TÜBSİAD) was established on 8 December 2014 with the participation of Turkish Bosnia-Herzegovina businesspeople. TÜBSİAD , was established with the aim and objective of supporting independent entrepreneurship of citizens to increase mutual cooperation with international business programs and to support them with technical assistance, to identify the legal regulations that are contrary to the interests of the members, to follow up the legal regulations to abolish them, to organize vocational training organizations among the members, in accordance with the law, civil society between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey, to contribute to the formation of partnerships in the fields of the state and business sector, to contribute to the economic infrastructure and institutionalization of the members, to the promotion and informing of business contacts of the new entrepreneurs through the support of the business environment and investment opportunities, to contribute to the economic development and improvement of their educational organizations.
It set out to create a strong bond between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fields of education, culture, art and history, especially in economic relations.
Abdurrahman Uvak
He was born in 1970 in Diyarbakır. He started his education in Diyarbakır and completed it in Istanbul. He did his military service in Erzurum in 1990. In 1992, he started trading in leather, textile, and jewelry business areas in the Grand Bazaar. Later, he was in Hungary (1993-1999) for commercial work. Its commercial activities in Hungary continue, and it is engaged in international trade in the leather and textile production sector. Since 1999, it has been continuing to import and export in the above-mentioned sectors in Tuzla Canton of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He founded the Turkey-Bosnia-Herzegovina Businesspeople Association (TÜBSİAD) in 2014 and gathered the Turkish-Bosnian businessmen in Bosnia-Herzegovina under one roof. He still carries out the management of this association as the “President”. At the same time, he is the Vice President of Turkey-Bosnia-Herzegovina Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum and since 2017, Bingo DOO Retail Chain (Limited Company), a Bosnian-based company in Bosnia-Herzegovina, to carry out the supply business and transactions of Turkish products. He established his company and still exports over 2000 items from Turkey. He is fluent in Hungarian, Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian.
