Georgia Turkish Business People’s Association, GÜRTİAD, was founded in Tbilisi in 1999 by 5 founding members, Tamaz Chincarauli, Hasan Bayraktar, Osman Turan, Coşkun Başmanav, İlyas Durmuş.
The Association is managed by 11 Board Members.
Currently, the association has 95 Georgian and Turkish (corporate companies, representative offices, individual) members who carry out successful business activities in Georgia and are represented in 25 different fields.
The general fields of activity of our members are: Construction, Health, Social Services, Banking, Manufacturing Industry, General Trade, Food and Beverage Services, Logistics, Tourism and Hotel Management, Textile, Retailing.
Osman Turan – President
Born in 1975 in Artvin Şavşat, Osman Turan has been living in Georgia for 25 years. Having worked as a senior manager for 15 years in the country’s largest Telecom company, which was founded by Turkcell in Georgia with Turkish capital, Turan returned to Georgia after a few overseas assignments in the Telecom sector.
