Turkish-Arab Countries Businessmen Association was established by a group of business people in Mersin on September 17, 2003, within the scope of the spirit and light of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s “Peace at Home, Peace in the World” vision and the principles of the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye. It is aimed to provide commercial, cultural and social convergence between the Republic of Türkiye, Turkic Republics, Arab Countries and all regions where the citizens of these countries live, and to carry out studies that will contribute to strengthening the deep fraternal ties with individuals, public and private organizations or alone.
TURAB is an international businesspeople association, and a non-governmental organization. TURAB has aimed to bring together businesspeople from Turkish-Arab countries, where people live together for more than 500 years and has adopted the basic principle of creating a superior unity of ideas in the light of the principle of “29 countries Hand in Hand with TURAB”. In the 21st century, where trade changes forms globalizes, distances disappear with a click of a button, or millions of sales are made with a single button, and the world market fits in our palms with a tiny screen, commercial collaborations, new ideas or markets have gone beyond geographical borders.
TURAB is an international civil society based in Mersin, whose main mission is to develop fraternal and friendly relations among the citizens of Turkey, 6 Turkish Republics and 22 Arab Countries, and member countries wherever they are in the economic and commercial context, and to support their commercial and economic solidarity and common interests in international platforms.
Fahri Kuş
He was born on 15.03.1971 in Mersin. He completed Adana Erkek Lisesi. He is a graduate of Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy, and he is the owner of Gülhane Pharmacy in Akdeniz district Karaduvar neighborhood and is currently actively practicing his profession. In the first years of his pharmacy profession, he worked as an Auditor Pharmacist in the Chamber of Pharmacists.
Between 1985 and 2000, he was engaged in wholesale and retail food, fresh fruit, and vegetable trade. As a member of MESİAD in 2003, he served as a member of the Board of Directors for many periods. After becoming a member of TURAB in 2005, he served as Treasurer and Secretary General. He was the Committee President of the 1st TURAB Turkish-Arab Economic Summit held in 2018. Finally, after his duties as Vice President, he became the President of TURAB after the election held on 24.03.2021.
